Amber Lea-Raye (Parker) King, 28, from Lewiston, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, surrounded by family. She died due to life-long complications with her heart, brought on suddenly by the flu.
Amber was a kind, loving woman full of compassion, always looking out for others more than herself. She always saw the positive in everything and everyone. She was a loving mother and best friend to her husband.
Having just returned from her honeymoon, she died a young, happy, beautiful bride.
She leaves behind her husband, Brady Scott King; son Tristan Scott King; parents Roger and Roxie Parker; mother-in-law Charitie Johnson; grandmothers Winnetta Parker and Geneva Hopkins; grandfather-in-law Steven Phillips; grandmother-in-law Judie Hampton; brothers Joshua Hitchcock, Bobby Gorski and Preston Johnson; sister Kaylee Parker; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her beloved pets, George, Lilly, Emma and Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Alvin Parker, Raymond Vaughn and Lawrence “Buddy” Hopkins; aunts Marsha Morris and Dottie Parker; and her beloved pet, Pepper.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Sept. 12 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 836 Preston Ave., Lewiston. Burial will follow at Normal Hill Cemetery in Lewiston. The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston, and again on Wednesday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
