Anthony Wayne "Tony" Roberts passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, in Lewiston, at the age of 44, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Anthony was born to Ruth Lee Henry and Casey Roberts on May 4, 1971, in Walla Walla. He grew up in Lapwai and graduated from Lapwai High School. He received an associate degree in computer-aided graphics in Stockton, Calif. Anthony lived and worked in Montana, California, North Dakota and Idaho in construction and carpentry.
Anthony was a member of the Umatilla Tribe in Pendleton, Ore., and he was very spiritual in his Native practices.
Anthony is survived and loved by his mother, Ruth Lee Henry Moore of Seattle; father Casey Roberts of Benson, Ariz.; sisters Teresa Roberts of Tucson, Ariz., Michelle George of Kalispell, Mont., Shelia Ellenwood of Seattle and Kimmie and Pamela of Yakima; brothers-in-law Cedric Ellenwood of Lapwai and Douglas George of Helena, Mont.; nephews Theo Ellenwood and Cedric Ellenwood Jr., both of Lapwai, Leeon Paul of Lewiston, Casey George, Rudy George, Michael George and Joshua Sprinkle, all of Helena, and Tre Slack of Cashmere, Wash.; nieces Latonia Ellenwood and Felicia Ellenwood, both of Seattle, and Shalena Paul of Tucson; as well as friends and family, Jeff and Terry Scott of Lapwai.
He was preceded in death by a niece, Sunny Jo Ellenwood.
