Barbara Jane Minick, 90, of Lewiston, passed away at home Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022. She was born Dec. 6, 1931, in Scranton, Pa., daughter of the late Harry and Mae Jarvis.
Mom lived most of her life in Factoryville, Pa., where she volunteered for the fire company and ladies auxiliary. After retiring, she moved to Lewiston to be closer to me, her daughter. While spoiling her grandchildren, Mom began volunteering for the local hospital and the Salvation Army food bank. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. Our countless evenings telling stories, many birthdays and years of Grammy’s Christmas Eve dinners will live on in my and my family’s memory.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Radle (Frank), sister, Karen Zupon (Joe), daughter-in-law, Sharon Lindsey, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Minick; former husband, Lyle Lindsey; son David Lindsey; and sisters Myra and Jean.
Cremation has taken place and no additional services will be held.
