Bonnie Ray (Evans) Moser, 82, of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at home, because of lung cancer. Bonnie was born Feb. 9, 1933, in the town of Asotin. She was the third child, and only daughter, of Clifford Evans and Gladys Nobles Evans.
Bonnie graduated from Clarkston High School in 1952. She gave birth to her first and only child, Carmen, on April 23, 1955. She married Gerald A. Moser on Oct. 13, 1962, in Genesee. They lived in Genesee until 1971, when they moved to Lewiston. Bonnie was a housekeeper for 20 years before becoming a homemaker and selling Tri-Chem. She painted and made crafts that she sold at various craft shows throughout the valley.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, now All Saints Catholic Church. She was also a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge and a member of the Eagles. She bowled for 17 years for the Lewiston Morning Tribune.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother Kenneth Evans and husband Gerald A. Moser.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Carmen; grandchildren Athena and Adrian; great-grandchildren Chloe and Kyla; and brothers Ronald and Vern "Bud." She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society for cancer research.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at All Saints Catholic Church in the Orchards, followed by a luncheon at the Moose Lodge.
