Carleen Rae Eaton passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, in Clarkston due to congestive heart failure.

Carleen was born on Aug. 9, 1936, in Dayton, Wash., to her parents, Verla Schadt Ham and Mel Ham. She graduated from Clarkston High School in 1954. Carleen married Arthur W. Eaton Jr., on April 28, 1964, in Reno, Nev.

She worked as owner and manager of Eaton Mobile Home Court until her death. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters, whom she loved dearly.

Carleen is survived by her husband, Wad Eaton of Lewiston; daughters Theresa White of Davenport, Iowa, and Shelly Bentley of Ocean Park, Wash.; son Hoss Eaton of Lewiston; and granddaughters Kindy Ague, Amanda Wickstrom, Abigail Bentley, and Naomi Eaton. She is also survived by siblings Glenna Mings, John Ham and Mary Kinney. At her request, she was buried during a private ceremony on July 29, 2016.
