Cheryl Braden passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, at Lincoln Care Center, in Shoshone, Idaho.
Cheryl was born Dec. 12, 1947, to Mary (Goin) Braden and Merlin Braden in Lewiston.
She was the youngest in the family that included an older sister Jackie and brother Jim.
Cheryl lived her life in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley until entering a care center in southern Idaho. She attended school in Lewiston. She enjoyed doing ceramics for many years and was proud of the ribbons she won at the Nez Perce County Fair and the Asotin County Fair.
Family, friends and her pets were important to Cheryl. Life was a challenge for Cheryl but she was a fighter and placed her faith in the Lord to guide her through life along with a good sense of humor.
She is survived by her sister Jackie Peterson, brother Jim Braden and niece Diane Braden and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A big thank you to Lincoln Care Center and their staff for their care of her. Cheryl more than once told her family she was content there and appreciated the good care and friendship.
A private graveside service will be held at Normal Hill Cemetery in Lewiston.
