Daniel J. Babinski

Dan was born to Rita and Sylvester Babinski on Sept. 9, 1953, at Lewiston. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1971 and received an associate degree in automobile mechanics at Lewis-Clark State College in 1973. Dan worked at Camas Prairie Railroad, Delta Ford in Moscow, Rogers Toyota and ATK. He retired from ATK in 2008.

Dan and Cyndi Arrasmith married in 1989. They had one daughter, Danica. The couple later divorced. Dan was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Danica Babinski, and grandson Jaxon of Spirit Lake, Idaho; sister Gayle Kadrmas (Arnie) of Lewiston; niece Christy Severance of Seattle; and nephews Michael Severance (Kate) of Seattle and Patrick Severance of Lewiston.

Dan will be greatly missed by his friends and family and remembered for his generosity, kindness, humor and love of animals.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Gall's Cemetery in Colton. A luncheon will be held at the Colton Gun Club following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army or charity of your choice.
