On Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, our beloved father left us here behind to stay. He passed away in a tragic car accident.
Dwight was born June 12, 1932, in Sequim, Wash. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, in 2012. They were married for 61 years. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Culdice.
Dwight was an active member of the Elks Lodge, where he enjoyed his weekly dances. Dwight also belonged to the Cranker's Club, where he drove a '59 Chevrolet pickup truck he called "Old Yellow."
He left behind three sons, Dwight Culdice Jr. of Marysville, Calif., Gary D. Culdice of Boise and Randy L. Culdice of Lewiston. Dwight had five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who will miss this vibrant man.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 17 at the Normal Hill Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Cliff Purcell of the First Church of the Nazarene. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston.
