Elizabeth D. Cormack

Elizabeth D. Cormack

3/25/1981 — 1/31/2018

Elizabeth Diane Cormack, 36, of Lewiston, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, of a heart attack. She was born to Nick and Debra Baune on March 25, 1981, in Spokane.

Beth lived in Rosalia, Wash., until she was 3, then moved with her mother and older siblings to Lewiston, where she attended school. She attended Lewis-Clark State College to become a dental assistant. While attending college she worked at ATK. She became active with the Mormon church, where she met and married Josh Cormack. In the five years they were married, they had two beautiful little girls. They later divorced.

Beth's passion was photography. She always had a camera in her hand, snapping pictures of her girls. She loved the Oregon coast and traveling. She taught herself and her daughters how to sew. She taught herself how to play the guitar and could play the piano. She also enjoyed taking her girls with her to the river for a good day on the lake with her brother, George.

Beth had become her niece, BritniePaige's, personal cheerleader since her cancer diagnoses, always texting with Britnie and checking in. She was her "go-to girl" when she needed a good laugh or words of encouragement. When she would call and say "I need you," Beth was right there within minutes to give any help she could. Beth was the kindest, most caring and soft-spoken young lady you could have ever met. She will be missed.

Beth was the youngest of three siblings.

She is survived by her brother, George Baune (Shanon); her sister, Jennifer; her two beautiful little girls, Natalie Autumn Rain and Isabelle Lillyanne; as well as her nieces, BritniePaige, Megan, Sarah and Jorden; and her nephews, Trevor and David.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Aura Loper; her father, Nick Baune; and her mother, Debra Baune. She will be put to rest at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Lewiston with her mother.

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3810 16th St., in Lewiston.

Memorial donations and gifts for the girls can be sent in care of George Baune, P.O. Box 412, Lewiston, ID 83501.

Arrangements are under the direction of Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston. A special thank you to Dennis Hasting for your kindness, compassion and help.
