We lost a very special lady Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Francis Reynolds passed away in her sleep at Kindred Nursing Home. She was 89.
She was born Jan. 17, 1927, to Roy and Karma Taylor at Leola, Ark.
She and her family moved to Omak, Wash., when she was young, where she met the love of her life, Don Reynolds.
They were married July 9, 1945, at Omak. They moved to Spokane after Don was discharged from the U.S. Army in November 1946. They then moved to Yakima in 1955, then returned to Spokane in 1960. In March 1963, they moved to Clarkston. From 1967 to 1984, she and Don owned and operated Joe's Roundup Tavern.
She enjoyed fishing and camping with Don for seven years at Dent Acres campground at Dworshak Reservoir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Reynolds; her two sons, Jerry Reynolds and Scott Reynolds; her parents; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Merle Mitchell of Puyallup, Wash.; daughter-in-law Beverely Reynolds; three granddaughters; six great-grandkids; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
