On Sunday, June 21, 2015, Geneva Opal Smith of Culdesac, at 55 years old, left us to join her sons Glenn and Samuel.

Geneva was born to George and Ola Dean on Dec. 2, 1959, in Landstuhl, Germany. She will be missed greatly by her life partner of 25 years, Herman Smith; daughter Stephaine Harris; daughters-in-law Cherie Ankney; grandchildren Sam, Katie, Emily, Felicity and Josh Arnold and Kailynn and Jace Ross; siblings Greg, Tim and Marvin Dean, William Vevle, Monty Rich, Carlena Hjaltain, Opal Derbyshire; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Culdesac Community Church, 902 Main St., Culdesac, with a potluck dinner to follow.
