Gloria Reterstorf, 94, of Lewiston, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston with family present.
Gloria was born June 27, 1922, in San Francisco, to Edmund and Cecile Wolfe. She had no siblings.
As Gloria was very devoted to family, she moved to Lewiston in 1987 to be near family. She retired from Pacific Bell in San Francisco. In her retirement, Gloria volunteered and especially loved her 25 years as a pink lady at St. Joe's Elizabeth Gift Shop. She also enjoyed traveling to Europe and throughout the United States with her girlfriends.
Gloria is survived by daughters Joan Reiss (Jack) of San Francisco and Suzanne Sittner (Tony) of Lewiston.
Gloria has four grandchildren: Stephanie Witt (Jason), Jonathan Sittner (Haley), Catherine Rowland (Lucky) and Victoria Sittner (Rick); and eight great-grandchildren: Kael and Natalie Witt of Lewiston, Preston and Bristol Rowland of Lewiston, Henry and Simon Sittner of Seattle, Kaylee and Addison Perez of Auburn, Wash.
Following a family gathering at graveside for interning Gloria's ashes, a celebration of her life will be held for family and friends at 2 p.m. Jan. 14 at her daughter's home, 621 Grelle Ave., Lewiston.
