Harold E. Mahon

Harold Edward Mahon, born July 15, 1928, in Lewiston to Lawrence and Maxine Mahon. He passed away Aug. 9, 2015, at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Iris Elizabeth (Brown) Mahon, born Oct. 21, 1929, in Colfax to Omer and Birdie Brown, passed away Aug. 25, 2015, at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Malcom Brown; and husband Harold.

Harold and Iris both passed away peacefully and quietly from natural causes while at Life Care in Lewiston. They married in 1950; together for 64 years.

Surviving is a sister to Harold, Ellen Delbridge, Spokane. Surviving to both Harold and Iris, one son, Tim Mahon, Garfield; two granddaughters, Kerrie (Rob) Gross of Lewiston and Amy (Shane) Nelson of Lake Stevens, Wash.; four great-grandchildren; several nieces; and one nephew.

There will be a memorial service held for Harold and Iris at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Deary Community Building. A covered-dish dinner will follow the service put on by the community, friends and neighbors.
