June Peterson, 89, of Lewiston, died Friday, March 22, 2019, at Life Care Center, in Lewiston. She was born June 24, 1929, in Marquette, Mich., to Walter and Evelyn (Merrill) Webber.
June graduated from Winchester High School in 1946. On Oct. 27, 1948, she married Clifford (Brick) Peterson in Lewiston. Clifford died July 3, 2007.
Throughout her life, June worked in banking. She worked at several different branches throughout the Northwest, completing her carrer in Lewiston. June was a member of the Orchard’s Methodist Church and the Hells Canyon Boat Club. June and Clifford greatly enjoyed boating and camping.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Rogers of Lewiston; sister Ann Lenz of Clarkston; brothers Ted Webber of Lewiston and Gilbert “Gib” Webber of Spokane; and she enjoyed the company of several nieces and nephews.
June was preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Evelyn Webber; husband Clifford; son Ronald Peterson; and brother Walter Max Webber.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. April 12 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Clarkston.
