Karen was born Dec. 25, 1934, and passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband, Ted B. Carton, of Clarkston.
They were married Aug. 21, 1956, in Grants Pass, Ore.
She is also survived by her sister, Evelyn Brunner; 10 children; one stepson; 36 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She loved reading, telling stories, writing poetry, playing the drums, practical jokes, gardening and music. Most of all, she unconditionally loved her family, each and every one.
She was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A service to be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the LDS Chapel, 1123 16th Ave., Clarkston.
