Kenneth Lee Roseborough, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and the "leader of the band," passed away May 25, 2015.
Ken was born to Blair and Floyd Roseborough on Sept. 1, 1945, in Cottonwood, the youngest of six children. He was raised in Kamiah, where he graduated high school. He worked a variety of jobs after graduation, including the local lumber mill. Ken returned to school in 1977 and graduated with a degree in heating, ventilating and air conditioning. He retired from Thermal Supply in Spokane in 2014 after 36 years dedicated to sales and customer service. He retired as a master in sales, but is best known to his family as the leader of the band. He was not the "rock" to his large extended family, but the "mountain." He taught himself how to play the guitar and shared his love and gift for music with his family and friends.
Ken's quick wit and ability to recall and tell jokes was legendary among his family and friends. Ken loved spending time in the outdoors, especially fishing. Ken's real passion, other than playing music, was NASCAR. He loved to watch and compete in NASCAR leagues.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bob Hill and Marvin Roseborough. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Jackie Roseborough; children Julia, Anthony, Kristopher, Kimberly, Marcy and Mark; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother Loren; sisters Alma and Jo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His wife, Jackie and family would like to thank Tri-State Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit staff as well as Dr. Arora for all their help and support during the last days of Ken's life.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home, 920 21st Ave., Lewiston. He will be laid to rest with his family at the Kamiah Cemetery.
