Larry G. Bolon was born June 27, 1950, to Shirley and Raymond Bolon in Lewiston. Being raised in the inland northwest, he developed a lifelong love of the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and camping were at the top of his list.
In 1972 Larry met Mary McIntyre. They married in January 1973, welcoming a daughter later that year into their now little family of four. Together he and Mary would raise their girls doing all the things kids of the ’70s did.
By the late ’80s, Larry and Mary were grandparents to two giggly girls, Jessica and Braelynne. Their only grandson Tyler, would join them a decade later.
Although he and Mary made many cherished memories, the family dynamic changed and they later divorced. Larry struggled with health issues. After several years of doing his best on his own, he moved to Lakeside Care Center in Winchester.
On Monday, April 28, 2025, Larry passed from this life, just two months shy of his 75th birthday. Throughout his challenges, his core remained the same. He loved his family, remained young at heart and valued a good sense of humor.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and faithful dog Cajun. He is survived by his brother Lyle and Natalia Bolon; daughter Jennifer and Brian Curry; grandchildren Braelynne and Drew Stewart, Tyler and Sydni Curry, Jessica and Patrick Westbrook; great-grandchildren Gavin Cicrich, Ezra Stewart, Grayden and Gunner Westbrook; as well and many extended family members and friends.
