Lois Naomi (Hilding) Jacksha passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017. Lois was the daughter of Amanda and Charles Hilding and lived her early years in Asotin, with five brothers and two sisters.
She married Richard Jacksha on July 6, 1949. She is survived by her children, Vicki White and Ron Jacksha, as well as three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed crafting, including tole painting and glass-cutting. In her later years, she took an interest in golf and belonged to the Bryden Canyon Ladies Golf Association. When she wasn't on the golf course, you could find her at a bridge table. She also was a member of the Asotin Historical Society, never forgetting memories of her childhood.
The rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Stanislaus Church, 633 Fifth Ave., Lewiston, followed by Mass. A reception will follow at the church.
