Marian I. Schrempp

Marian was born March 15, 1922, in Eagle Butte, S.D., to Charlie and Florence Brewer. Marian spent most of her adult life in the Southwest. In the 1950s, Marian started work at Southern Union Gas in Albuquerque, N.M. In 1976, she attended an all-school reunion and became reacquainted with her schoolmate, Claude Schrempp. In 1977, they were married and lived in Albuquerque until 1981, when they moved to Lewiston.

In retirement, they traveled the United States with Good Sams Club members and Veterans of Foreign Wars friends. She prided herself in crafts, crocheting and gardening. After Claude's death in 2013, Marian maintained an independent life with remaining close friends.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Marian always considered Eagle Butte, S.D., her home. Her wishes were for no local services, and her ashes will be buried beside her parents in Eagle Butte.
