Michael Edward Jesse was born on May 5, 1955, in Lewiston, to John and Grace Jesse. At the age of 18, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served with honor for 13 years and attained the rank of Tech Sergeant.

Following his military service, Michael pursued his passion for cooking, becoming an accomplished chef, and also worked as a skilled tradesman throughout his life.

Michael passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at the age of 69.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Jesse, and his sister, Susan Jesse. Michael is survived by his sister, Ann Driever; and his children, Jason (Heather), Bryan, Jillian and Kevin Jesse, as well as his grandchildren Caleb, Ryan and November.

Michael will be remembered for his dedication to service, his craftsmanship and the love he shared with his family.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home, 920 21st Ave., Lewiston.

We were great friends when very young, living just across the street from one another. We'd play at the Jesse home, Mike, sister Anne, and I.. and others, Mosmans and Tecco, in the neighborhood. Also, great memories of playing at the Jesse garndparents' home on Prospect, just a few blocks away. Your family moved and I didn't see Mike for many, many years, and ran into him in Texas while i was working a convention. Then, more years passed, I was visiting Lewiston, and ran into Mike again. I was not living in Lewiston, so lost touch again. Wonderful memories. I cannot make it to Mike's services because of prior commitments but, if family would like to contact me, please, please, do so. God's Blessings and Grace, Mike. I pray we happen into one another again. My prayers and condolences to all the family.
