Moy Chow-Mui Ng of Colfax passed away of natural causes Aug. 12, 2015, at Whitman Hospital and Medical Center. She was 85.
She was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Taishan Guangdong, China, to Kuen Sou Choy and Kam Tsui Ng. She completed her education in China and was self-taught in Chinese and English.
She married Wai-Kai Ng in Sun Wei, in Guangdong, China, in 1949. She came to Colfax in 1970 to join her family. She was a chef and owned and operated Eddy's Restaurant with her husband and sons.
She loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Eddy Ng of Colfax, Tony Ng of Lewiston and Wally Ng of Colfax, and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wai-Kai Ng, who passed away Aug. 1, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Normal Hill Cemetery. Rev. Mark Brewster will officiate.
