Neal Joseph Ricard, 55, of Cottonwood, died on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017.

Neal was born Dec. 29, 1961, in Pullman, to Edmund and Cecelia Ricard. He grew up in Lewiston and was active in 4-H and Boy Scouts, where he became an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Lewiston High School and attended Lewis-Clark State College.

Neal was dealt a bad hand in life, although he wouldn't agree with that. He always was very positive in spite of his handicaps. He was a dreamer who wasn't able to make those dreams come true.

Neal was survived by his father, Edmund; sister Corine (Don) Vancil; and brother Gene (Denise) Ricard. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cecelia, and sister Karen Ricard.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church in Lewiston.
