Nicholas James Mowitch, 39, passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022. He was born and raised in Hoquiam, Wash., and was a resident of Lewiston since 2011. He was a proud member of the Quinault Indian Tribe, as well as an active member of the Nez Perce Tribe.
He is preceded in death by his father, Chester James Mowitch.
Survivors include his mother, Ginger Riley, and stepfather, Mike Riley; fiance Lena Black; brothers, Derrick Kokko and Charles Briggs; sister Laloni Mowich; his children, Jackson Schneider, Maddox Mowitch, Antwone Baker, Jazmine Baker, Sophia Black and Nicholas Mowitch Jr.; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
His amazing, larger-than-life personality and infectious laugh will never be forgotten.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home, 920 21st Ave., Lewiston. A celebration of life will follow in Lapwai.
