Mom was born June 23, 1931, in Hartland Wis., and grew up working on the family farm. She married Charles Bierman Sr. in August 1949. They had seven children from 1950-1959: Howard (Sherrill), Linda (Chet), Kieth (Barb), Charley (Lorrie), Deborah (Jon), Bryon (Susan) and Glen (Melissa). She also has 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Mom had many jobs working with Dad in construction and as a cook and waitress. She got her GED at age 51, went back to school, became a CNA, and worked at Evergreen Estates. Mom later became a hospice volunteer, helped facilitate grief and bereavement groups and volunteered at Tri-State Memorial Hospital.

Mom always believed in God and in her later years surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, was baptized and began following Jesus and serving in her church. She liked being a greeter, welcoming people with a friendly smile. Mom faithfully lived out her trust in Jesus and we will always remember her gentle spirit and willingness to quickly forgive and not hold a grudge. She recently remarked that she was tired and ready to go Home. On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, she entered Eternity and was met by Jesus and then those in the family who went before her. Mom will be greatly missed, but we know we will see her again.

Cremation has taken place at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston.

A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at CrossPoint Alliance Church, 1330 Powers Ave., Lewiston.
