Bob was drafted into the U.S. Army on his 18th birthday and served in World War II. He married Rose Marie Fuchs on Nov. 22, 1952. They had three children.
Bob was a partner with Mohr and Lenz, which later sold out and became Carburetor and Electric. He continued working there until he retired.
Bob enjoyed being with his family. Visits from his children and grandchildren always brightened his day. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed raising a large vegetable garden that he shared with others.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; son Ronald (Jean) Lenz; daughters Lori (Kevin) Dammon and Connie (Wally) Kilmer, all of Lewiston. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Samantha Lenz, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps; and his grandson, Austin (Jena) Kilmer of Lewiston; sisters Bert Lenz and Carol Uhtoff; brother Mike Lenz; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Rose Clay and Jeanette Kuykendall.
There will be a service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston.
