Sadie Beck

Sadie Beck

4/25/1981 — 8/22/2024

On Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, Sadie Lynn Beck, 43, of Winchester, was called to Heaven to join the many loved ones who passed before her.

Sadie was born to Larry and Tracy Lefler, formerly of Lewiston, on April 25, 1981. She was the oldest of three girls. Sadie was the best big sister to Lindsey and LeeAnn, whom she adored, and mothered her entire life. Her family lived in Lewiston and Anchorage, Alaska. She later moved with her parents and sisters to the Tri-Cities after graduating high school and then she returned to her roots in Lewiston in 2001.

Sadie attended Tammany Elementary School where she met for the first time her husband, Jason Beck, in their first grade class. Sadie graduated from Lewiston High School in 1999, she then attended Columbia Basin College and later graduated from Lewis-Clark State College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. On Oct. 11, 2002, Sadie married her first grade sweetheart, and together they have three beautiful daughters, Gracie, Kylee and Halle. These three girls were her everything. She was a wonderful mother, a true momma bear. She was so proud of her girls, and enjoyed watching their activities from school band, school plays, volleyball and basketball, but especially enjoyed helping them participate in 4-H where all three girls started showing steers at a very young age. It was a family activity that she very much enjoyed. Sadie was loved by many, and had a smile that would light up a room. She also shared a very special bond with her grandmother, Penny Nedrow, whom she spent a great deal of time with growing up.

Sadie was a fierce competitor, loved winning any game during family game nights along with “Fazarri’s Pizza.” She was a great swimmer and loved the water. Her favorite spot to snorkel was “Two-Step” in Kona, Hawaii. We all have wonderful memories of family vacations at the Oregon Coast, Hawaii, bull and cattle sales, family dinners, boating on the Snake River, camping, game nights and just hanging out together.

Although Sadie’s life was cut way to short, we have such loving memories that we will hold near and dear to our hearts until we are all reunited again.

Sadie may be gone from our lives, but she will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Jason, of 22 years, her loving daughters, Gracie, Kylee and Halle Beck, all of Winchester. In addition, she is survived by her parents, Tracy and Larry Lefler, her in-laws, Bill, Jr. and Lori McCann, of Lewiston, and Sam and Martie Beck of Winchester, her sisters, Lindsey (Roy) Nehls, and their children, LeeAnn (Trent) Hilker and their children, all of the Tri-Cities, her grandmother, Penny Nedrow, her aunt, Jaci (Brooks) Beagle, her uncle Tony (Sheila) Nedrow, and many cousins, and other extended family members, and loving friends. Sadie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray Nedrow, Larry Lefler, Sr., Earl and Genie Trigsted, and many other loving family members.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Seaport Room of the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel, 621 21st St., Lewiston. Please come and share your favorite “Sadie” story as we celebrate her life. A private burial and spreading of her ashes will take place with the immediate family at a later date.
