Sally A. Teichmer

Sally A. Teichmer

8/12/1935 — 4/5/2015

Sally Ann Teichmer passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center because of complications from surgery. Sally loved the Lord, and he gained an angel on Easter Sunday.

Sally was born Aug. 12, 1935, to Sara A. and Frederick R. Price in Orange, N.J. She loved to swim and be at the beach and go to the Jersey Shore with her family. After graduating from Neptune High School in 1953, she went to work for the Asbury Park and Ocean Grove Bank.

In 1957, Sally married Dallas Talbott. In their young marriage, they lived in Lewiston, then moved to Annette Island, Alaska. They had two beautiful daughters, Debbie and Patsy, before their marriage ended in 1974.

Sally moved back to Lewiston and was invited to attend First Christian Church by a neighbor. This is where she met the love of her life, Wayne J. Teichmer. They married in 1976 and built an active, wonderful life together that focused on family and faith. She and Wayne devoted their lives to each other until Wayne passed away on March 15, 2011.

Sally was devoted to the Lord and dedicated her life to serve him. She did this by volunteering at Snake River Comunity Clinic, Clarkston schools, Girl Scouts, the food bank, Interlink and at her church. Sally was known for visiting area nursing homes and writing to people in prison to encourage them to find the Lord and to give them hope for the future. She always put other people first and was a selfless, loving person. Sally always had a smile on her face and was full of laughter and love.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and two sisters.

Sally is survived by her children, Deborah Paasch and husband Neil, Patsy Huddleston and husband Dannell, Patrick Teichmer and wife Janell, and Michael Teichmer. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Nichole Paasch, Natalie Heyne (Paasch) and husband John, Nathan Paasch, Silas Huddleston, Riley Huddleson and wife Shylee (children Ryan and Amadeus), Reuben Huddleston, Levi Huddleston, Stepanie Coleman Teichmer (children Talon and Treyson), Caitlin Teichmer and Kendall Teichmer.

A celebration of Sally's life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Clarkston's First Christian Church, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the church.

Philippians 1:21 - For me, to live is Christ, his life in me; and to die is gain - (the gain of the glory of eternity).
