Stanley J. Goucher, 66, of Clarkston, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene.
Stan was born to Lowell and Regina (Hill) Goucher on Dec. 28, 1949, in Lewiston. He lived in Clarkston, then moved to Portland, Ore., and then moved back to Clarkston.
He served in the U.S. Army from May 1970 to 1972 and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. He married Mary Mealy in 1982; the marriage later ended in divorce.
Stan worked construction building storage silos. In later years, he did auto mechanic restoration work.
He is survived by children Justin and Cynthia Goucher of San Diego, Tony Goucher of San Diego, KC and Eric Bauer of San Diego; brothers Charles Goucher of Clarkston, William Goucher of Clarkston and Thomas Goucher of Clarkston; sisters Darlene LaVelle of Rainier, Ore., and Kathy Goucher of Enumclaw, Wash.; as well as grandchildren Kenzie and Mariko Goucher; stepmother Judy Goucher; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Regina (Hill) Goucher; grandparents Vilas and Florence Goucher and James and Debbie Hill; as well as sister Nadine Genevase; and brother Robert Goucher.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Vineland Cemetery in Clarkston, followed by a celebration of life at the Clarkston School District office's east end, 1394 Chestnut St., Clarkston.
