Stephen Edward Scully passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, peacefully with his family with him.
Steve was born 77 years ago in Enterprise, Ore., to Helen Kunkle Scully and Raymond Carroll Scully.
He graduated from Charles Francis Adams High School in Clarkston with the class of 1956. He attended North Texas State College and Lewis-Clark Normal School. Steve was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1962. He was an avid pro-amateur golfer, winning many tournaments and making two holes-in-one in his golfing days. He also loved competitive darts and bowling. He worked at the Camas Prairie Railroad and then the Lewiston Tribune, retiring after 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother David Scully; and nephew Chris Scully.
He is survived by his sister, Sharon Scully Emke (Helmut); daughter Corinna Harding (Dean); grandson Cedric Harding; nephews Kurt Emke (Francesca), Greg Scully (Tammy), Edward Scully (Jordan); nieces Stacey Dunn-Emke Gnuse (John), Stephanie Scully Cannon and Tanya Giesen Scully; and nine great-nieces and -nephews.
At his request, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
