Teri Lynn Martin, born Oct. 27, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas, lost her battle with cancer Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017. Heaven gained an angel that day.

Growing up an Army brat, she had a chance to live and experience life in different countries around the world. Her father, Thomas Lane Martin, taught Teri to fish, hunt and to love the outdoors, while her mother, Lahoma Martin, taught her to love, to help those in need and to cook like a Michelin star chef.

Teri had two siblings, her brother Cary Martin and sister Tanya Martin, both of Boise.

Teri was a wonderful mother to three children: Joshua Luscombe, Melissa Martin and Sarah Clifford. Every life that Teri touched gained a best friend who lived every day to the fullest. Whether she was riding her four-wheeler with the wind blowing in her hair or catching the biggest fish, she always did everything to the best of her ability.

She was met in heaven by her father, Thomas Martin; mother Lahoma Martin; and her two pups, Sophia and Sugar. She has left behind her sister, Tanya Martin and Tanya's partner Kent; brother Cary Martin and his wife Sheri and his children Brad and Erin; son Joshua Luscombe and his wife Erin and their children Jayley and Kayne; and daughter Sarah Clifford and her children Hailee, Matthew and newborn Logan. The friends and family that remain have a hole in their souls that no one or nothing can ever fill until we see her again.

There will be a wake at noon Saturday at the Juliaetta Community Center, 214 State St. Contact Josh Luscombe at (208) 791-7568 for details. Interment will be held at the Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise at a time and date to be announced at a later date.
