Theresa A. Quinn

Theresa was born May 25, 1935, in Lewiston, to Laurence and Mary (Feucht) Hasenoehrl, the fifth of 11 children born to the couple. She grew up in Culdesac and went to grade school at St. Joseph Mission School in Culdesac on Mission Creek. Theresa went on to graduate from St. Gertrude's Academy in Cottonwood in 1953. She also attended Kinman Business School in Spokane.

Theresa met the love of her life, John A. Quinn, and the couple were married April 21, 1956, in Lewiston. The couple made their home in Woodbridge, N.J., for 20 years after John was discharged from military service. The couple returned to Mission Creek in 1976 and built a new house on the property Theresa was raised on. Theresa and John raised four children together and she was a homemaker, raising the family. She also worked as a transportation aide at the Lewiston School District for 17 years. She and her husband retired from the district on the same day, Sept. 30, 1999. Theresa enjoyed puzzles, crocheting and gardening.

Theresa is survived by her children, Christine Quinn of Atlanta, John D. (Becky) Quinn of Post Falls, Idaho, and Matthew A. (Michelle) of Lewiston; daughter-in-law Charlotte Quinn of Medical Lake, Wash.; and grandchildren Melanie, Kimberly, Cory, Gabrielle, Kalin and Brendon.

She was preceded in death by a son, Steven.

The rosary will be recited for Theresa at 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 3330 14th St., Lewiston. The family would like to extend their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Lewiston Emergency Medical Services team and St. Joe's amazing intensive care unit staff for their extraordinary care and kindness during this difficult time.
