Timothy G. Dodson of Lewiston died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston after a short battle with cancer. He was 65.
Tim was born Oct. 14, 1950, in St. Maries, to William and Lorraine Durgin Dodson. His family moved to Lewiston in 1960. Tim graduated from Lewiston High School in 1969. He worked at Clearwater Paper from 1972 until he retired from there in 2010.
Timmy was an avid car enthusiast and owned many Chevys over the years, his favorite being his 1957 two-door hardtop that he was in the process of restoring. He was an avid deer and elk hunter, never missing his annual hunting trip with his best friend, Clem Smith, for the past 42 years. He also enjoyed spending time with his fiancee, Terrie Stevens, whom he met shortly after retiring in 2010. They enjoyed going to his Dworshak property and going on their "Adventure Day Drives," to places unknown, never knowing where they might end up.
Tim is survived by his fiancee, Terrie L. Stevens; his brother, Tom (Tillie) Dodson; and two nephews, Randy (Stephine) Dodson and Scott (Allison) Dodson.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Park Cemetery in Deary.
