Wandalene "Wanda" Womack, 81, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Lewiston. She was born May 12, 1934, in Henderson County, Texas, to Benjamin and Venetta Mason.
Wanda worked for the University of Idaho College of Agricultural Science for 25 years before she retired.
Wanda married Lloyd Womack in 1956 in Long Beach, Calif. They were happily married for 26 years, until Lloyd's death in 1982. She spent the past 26 years traveling and enjoying life with her companion, Fred Johnson.
Wanda is survived by Fred Johnson in Lewiston; her children, Julie (Brian) Magelky of Moscow, Tim (Camy) Womack of Potlatch, Pam (Rodney) Bell of Moscow, and Shelly (David Swing) Womack of Eugene, Ore. She is also survived by her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and by her siblings, Fran Smith, John Mason, Betty Shields and Judy Fredrick, all from Texas.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Womack; her parents, Benjamin and Venetta Mason; and her sister, Faye Chestnut.
