Anthony Bybee, 84.942 years old (he was a machinist), passed Sunday morning June 25, 2023, in Sweetwater. He was born July 15, 1938, on Mission Creek outside Culdesac.
He leaves behind his wife Kathy and his children Tony Jr., Greg, Tawna, Ken and Bob. The second youngest of eight children, he is survived only by his older sister Chris Pearsall.
His career as a machinist at Omark/Blount/ATK lasted until 2004 and his retirement years were filled with many trips and family reunions where he enjoyed seeing his many grandchildren. He will be remembered for his wisdom and willingness to help anyone he met.
A viewing will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston. As per his wishes, he will later be cremated.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 29, at the Pi-Nee-Waus in Lapwai. There will be a small service and food will be provided as we positively reflect on his life and the legacies he created in his short time on Earth.
