Craig Peterson

Craig C. Peterson was welcomed into this world April 22 by C.A Pete and Ida Peterson in Lewiston. Later moving out to Wisconsin. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, he joined his father C.A. Pete, mother Ida and his sister JoAnne in heaven.

In 53 years of a railroad career he worked for Burlington Northern, Camas Prairie Railroad, back to the BN later it becoming Burlington Northern Santa Fe as well as the BNSF where he retired from.

He and Bonnie married and welcomed into the world their son Mathew. They later divorced.

Craig then married Debbie Jo. They add to their blended family of two children a third Tobianne. They later divorced.

Dad’s high school sweetheart and love of his life Debbie came back into his life and they married in 2004 and built a beautiful life together.

One of Craig’s pride and joys was his granddaughter Lyrica who they took on many trips and adventure during his and Debbie’s retirement.

His other pride and joy Sophie. She ruled the roost with her four paws.

He leaves behind. His wife Debbie; two half-sisters Bonnie Peterson Marshall and Barb Peterson Gebhart (Wi); stepmother Jackie Peterson; son Matt and his wife Darcy and their daughter Halle (Kellen); daughter Tobianne and her daughter Lyrica.

At Craig’s request we will not be holding a service.
