Ed L. Browning, 80, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, in Lakewood, Wash. He was born Oct. 16, 1943, in Potlatch, to James Ralph and Alta Browning, joining his brothers Don, Richard and Larry.
He graduated from Lewiston High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He married Jackie Mckinney and they had two daughters, Lori and Ginger, later divorcing. He married Judy Warner and had a son James and a daughter Dawn.
He was involved in Crankers and Gem State HET car clubs, the Nez Perce County Fair, enjoyed fishing, home remodeling and traveling.
Preceding him were his parents, two brothers, aunts, uncles and a niece. Surviving are his wife Judy, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brother Larry, cousin Martha, other cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.
