Holly Jo Cassell, 44, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston of complications from flu/pneumonia. Holly was born Oct. 9, 1973, in Clarkston to Debra Garren and Doug Cassell.
Holly’s childhood was spent in Lewiston and Roseburg, Ore. She attended Roseburg High School and later Lewis-Clark State College. She was our creative, loving gypsy girl, living in various places throughout the Northwest.
Holly was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed refurbishing old houses. She was a songbird and loved to sing. She was in various bands and liked singing karaoke. She enjoyed her fur babies, camping on the river and spending time with family and friends.
Holly leaves behind her parents, Debbie Garren and Doug (Leah) Cassell; children Ashly Craig, Shyanne (Jon) Smathers, Tyler Lacock and Skyler Hett; grandchildren Lealu, Jack and Demetrius; siblings Cami Sutton, Gabe (Julie) Cassell and Jay (Alex) Rode; and grandmother Laurel (Cassell) Curtis. She also is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life and covered-dish dinner will be held at 2 p.m. April 7 at the Clarkston Eagles Lodge.
The family asks that any donations be made to Helping Hands Rescue.
