Judith Marion Jordan, 88, of Lewiston, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024. Born on Oct. 20, 1935, in Brooklyn, N.Y., Judith dedicated over 30 years to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center as a valued nurse on the Labor and Delivery floor. She studied to become a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lewis-Clark State College.
Judith’s life was marked by the joy of nurturing her patients. She is survived by her brothers John Scannell and David Deaton; her daughter, Shanon Holt and her husband Monte; grandson, Ryan Jordan; and great-grandchildren, Charlee and Ryder Jordan. Judith was preceded in death by her son, Allen Jordan, her brother Bill Van Wey, and her parents, Marion Deaton and Roger Scannell.
Judith graduated from Compton High School in Compton, Calif. She was known as an amazing cook as well as her lifelong commitment of caring for others. The family would like to acknowledge Dan Button, and Life Care of Lewiston, whose love and care of Judith made a tangible impact at the end of her life.
A graveside service to honor Judith’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Lewis Clark Memorial Gardens, 3521 Seventh St., Lewiston.
