Judith Yvonne (Burnett) Plute, 75, of Clarkston, passed to the angels Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024. Married to Daniel Plute for 49 years.
Living and working west of the Cascades for much of her life, she retired to Clarkston in 2012. She was already fond of the area from her many vacation trips here.
Judy was an accountant that rose to the position of corporate controller for Zaser and Longston, a multi-faceted company, based in Bellevue, Wash., with operations throughout the northwest including Alaska and Colorado. She enjoyed her trips to those locations, making lifelong friends along the way. She served that company for 37 years.
Judy enjoyed reading, crocheting, cross-stitch, long-stitch, card games, line-dancing, boating, flying and side-by-side ATV adventures.
Throughout her time here, she developed a very special group of friends with common interests. They formed bonds that could only be described as a sisterhood.
She loved and cherished her family deeply. She was devoted to her sons Aaron Schuh, Kevin Knowles; granddaughters Aspen Knowles, Sophia Schuh; grandsons Daniel Schuh, Barry Schuh; and great-granddaughter Evelyn.
She will be missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Clarkston Grange Hall, 2220 Reservoir Road, Clarkston.
