Klee L. Skinner passed away at the age of 77 on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, at Life Care Center of Lewiston due to complications of a brain tumor.
Klee was born in Rexburg, Idaho, in 1946 and spent his childhood in Moody Creek, Idaho, until his family moved to Connell, Wash., when he was 9. Klee graduated from Connell High School in 1964 and attended BYU that fall. He took a brief pause from the University to serve his mission for the LDS Church in the North and South Dakota Reservations. After his mission he returned to BYU to finish pursuing his degree in accounting. While there he met his wife, of 53 years, Treva J. Haworth. They were married in the Idaho Falls Temple, Aug. 19, 1970. That November they moved to Lewiston where he worked as an accountant for Potlatch Corporation for 38 years. Upon retirement the couple moved to Kennewick and later settled in Nampa in 2010. In 2022, Klee and Treva moved back to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley to be closer to some of their children during Klee’s battle with a brain tumor.
Klee was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served many different positions within the church, worked in the Boise and Meridian Temples, and brought church services to a Nampa area care facility.
Klee enjoyed playing basketball for city and church leagues, and spent his summers as an umpire for women’s softball. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing, riding four-wheelers and spending time with his family.

Skinner, Wendy Tucker (Brady Tucker) and Douglas R Skinner; 12 grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Leighton, Damian, Hailey, Hyrum, Isaac, Wes, Tristan, Holden, Iain and George; five great-grandchildren Amo, Gunner, Ella, Alexandria and Hudson; his sister Renee Ellis and brother Malcolm Skinner.
