Laura Schaff, 99, of Nampa and formerly of Lewiston, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, with her family there.
Laura was married to Fred Hawley on Aug. 4, 1940, until his passing Aug. 3, 1996. Laura then married Mike Schaff in 2001 and they were married until his passing in 2008.
Laura was born to mother Nettie (Lewis) Powell and father Sylvanas Powell. Laura had six brothers and two sisters who are all deceased.
Laura and Fred had three kids together; two boys, Ken and Ervin and a daughter, Patti who is deceased. Ken as well as Ervin and wife Helen all reside in Lewiston.
She has six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
There will be a celebration of life next year around May for Laura.
Mom we all love you, and we will miss you.
