Randy Blair of Clarkston died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. He attended school in Clarkston, graduating from Clarkston High School in 1967.
Randy enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1970 and served in Vietnam. It was in the Navy that his passion for sailing began.
After being discharged, he returned home to Clarkston and married Kay Kazda on Nov. 7, 1975.
In 1979, Randy and Kay opened Blair's Floor Store in Clarkston, operating the business for 30 years.
His hobbies included sailing and N Scale model trains.
Randy is survived by his wife, Kay; two daughters, Amber (Josh) Dahmen of Lewiston, and Jacqueline (Dan) Schwartz of Genesee; grandchildren Trevor, Alaina, Carson and Kaden; and brother Mark of Diamondhead, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Ann Blair.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Vineland Cemetery in Clarkston.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
