Rick L. Williams, 76, of Lewiston passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. Rick was the only son, and middle child, born to his parents Lyle and Marjorie Williams on April 3, 1948, in Wyoming. Rick graduated from Lewiston Senior High School in 1967.
He married the love of his life, Connie Watson, on Oct. 21, 1976, in Lewiston. They were married for 46 years until Connie’s passing in 2022.
In his early years, he worked with his father drilling wells, until an industrial accident in 1966 took his father’s life. Following this, he worked as a delivery driver for Stillings and Embry, eventually becoming a florist. He worked there for many years until multiple sclerosis made it too difficult to continue.
Rick was known for his sense of humor, kindness, patience and strong will. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with friends. He also enjoyed time with family, watching football, playing card games and bingo. Many summers were spent planting and tending flowers and vegetable gardens.
Rick is survived by his children: Nikki Williams, Cindi Williams, Desi Williams and John (Della) Williams; grandchildren: Grace, Alaina, Danny and Isabelle; sisters: Sue (Eric) Olson, Penny (Cary) Stephenson; brothers-in-law: Rod (Donna) Watson, Michael (Ellen) Watson and Steve Watson. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, family members and friends who had a special place in his heart.
