Robert Wiggins

1/23/1963 — 5/25/2025

June 4, 2025

Robert Allen Wiggins, born on Jan. 23, 1963, in Lewiston, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Missoula, Mont. He was 62 years old and was the youngest of 11 children born to James O. and Marguerite I. Wiggins.

Bobby spent his childhood roaming the Lewiston Orchards playing with numerous neighborhood kids and his siblings. He attended Centennial, Sacajawea and Lewiston High School. During junior high, Bobby was a talented runner and held the 880-yard track record at Sacajawea. However, Bobby found school not to his liking and left high school before graduating.

As a young adult, Bobby met Lisa Grow and together had three children, Josh, Jordan and Alena. Unfortunately, Bobby’s wandering spirit and lovable personality got in the way during this relationship, and it ended. Later, Bobby met Debi Middleton whom he wed and had another daughter, Jade. During this time, Bobby held several odd jobs, one of which was a custodian at a Great America theme park. Bobby was also known as a great cook. He put this talent to use later when he returned to the valley as a cook in various restaurants. Bobby and Debi’s relationship fractured though they never divorced.

The last years of his life were plagued with alcohol addiction. Bobby’s connection with his brother Jim was special. Jim, and his wife, Delsie, monitored his welfare over the last decade and then graciously took him in for the last six years of his life. We were all thankful for their generosity in caring for our brother during this time.

Bobby is survived by his sons Josh and Jordan and daughter Alena and his wife, Debi and daughter Jade. He is also survived by two grandchildren in Texas. Surviving siblings include Linda Kennedy of State College, Pa.; brothers Rod Wiggins and Jim Wiggins; sister Judy Wood, all of Lewiston; and sisters Cheryl Sanders and Lori Lawton of Moscow. Additionally, Bobby leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and his close friends, Brian and Les.

Preceding him in death were his parents, James O. and Marguerite I. Wiggins, as well as four brothers, Robert J., Richard P., Ronald A. and Russell R. Wiggins, as well as several aunts and uncles.

Cremation has taken place, and a gathering to celebrate his life will take place later. Bobby’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Be at peace, little brother.
