Rose went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016.
She was born on June 1, 1919, in Madison County, Neb., to Henry and Emma (Wedekind) Reiche.
Rose was an amazing seamstress. She made clothes for her children and grandchildren. She loved to fish and took great pride in her flower beds. She often joked about how many times she moved her family. She quit counting after seven states.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Kenneth Kellogg (Diane); and two daughters, Karen Laughery and Dora Nyman (Curtis). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers Walter and Wilbur Reiche; and sisters, Helena Dunnington and Leona Tripp.
A brief memorial will take place during the Sunday morning church service, Oct. 23 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1107 14th St., Clarkston. A full celebration of Roses's life will be held on May 27, 2017, in Newman Grove, Neb., at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or charity of your choice.
