Thomas Louis Fuchs, 60, of Lewiston, passed away Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, due to complications from pneumonia. He was the first child of David P. Fuchs and Donna D. Wassmuth. They moved to Lewiston in 1971, where he lived out the rest of his life. He welcomed a son Kyle with ex-wife Pam Kirtley, and a daughter Allison with ex-wife Michele Taylor. Tom met his current wife Trina Fuchs (Braynt) in 2010 and later married in 2022.
Tom worked as a skilled auto body painter for various jobs throughout his life, including for Kennedy’s Body and Paint in Lewiston; his hobbies included hunting, competitive softball and he was a diehard Seattle Mariners fan. You could catch him at all the car shows with his yellow Camaro, and playing darts with close friends. Tom loved his family and friends immensely. His final days were spent with love from all of them. Tom brought a warmth and wisdom into many hearts, he was a man of profound kindness and strength and his legacy will live on in all the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Tom is survived by his wife Trina Fuchs, mother Donna Fuchs, sister Jamie Matkowski (Mike), brother Clinton Fuchs, sister Jeannette Fuchs (Robert), son Kyle Fuchs (Megan), daughter Allison Munden (Arthur), stepdaughter Lacey Slocum, stepdaughter Blake Slocum, grandchildren: Emmett, Leighton, Alex, Carter, Addison, Raven, Vinsen, Baylee, Harlee and Ella; and many nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his father David P. Fuchs, grandparents Anthony (Rosa) Fuchs and Herb (Mary) Brown.
Services will be held from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24, at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home, 920 21st Ave., Lewiston. Inurnment will follow the celebration of life at the columbarium at All Saints Catholic Church, 3330 14th St., Lewiston. Deacon George Ivory of Lewiston will officiate.
