Tonya Michelle (McKinney) Moore, 51, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, of natural causes. She was born July 20, 1972, to Ralph “Sonny” McKinney and Margaret “Margo” McKinney West, in Moscow.
Tonya grew up in Potlatch and Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1991. She married Mike Moore on Oct. 12, 1996, and they had two children. Tonya was a devoted mom and homemaker.
Tonya actively supported “The Bridge” church and had a strong affection for Bingo, driving and “pitting” for the demolition derby. She loved her amazing kids and spending time with them.
Tonya is survived by her husband Mike Moore; daughter Tammi Jo Moore; son Konrad Moore; sister Tracie Elnicki; brother Arthur “Art” McKinney; nephews Johnny Elnicki and Edward Chipman; and best friends Haylie Pierce and Calvin Williams. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, and an aunt, Dorothy McKinney.
A celebration of life and covered-dish meal will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Eagles Lodge, 1304 Main St., Lewiston. Please bring a side dish to share. The family suggests memorial donations in Tonya’s honor be made to the Lewiston Eagles.
