Vivian M. "Toots" Borgeson, 93, of Craigmont, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.
She was born June 3, 1923, in Craigmont, to Fred and Flossie Hartwig, and she attended the Craigmont schools until she graduated in 1942.
Vivian was married to Arvid "Roy" Borgeson on Nov. 14, 1942, in Lewiston. She and Roy worked together on their farm in Craigmont. She also worked at several Craigmont businesses, including the local movie theater, Rexall Drug and Berry's Dry Goods, where she retired.
Vivian is survived by sons Randy Borgeson of Craigmont and Garry Borgeson and his wife Valerie of Connecticut; and granddaughters Ashley Smith of New Jersey and Allison Borgeson of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, and brothers Bud and Bob.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Craigmont Fire Department or Craigmont Quick Response Unit.

A memorial service will be held at noon Wednesday at the United Church of Craigmont, and family and friends are invited to bring memories and a covered dish for a celebration of her life at 1 p.m. at the Craigmont American Legion Hall.
